UNKNOWN CHARLOTTE & EURO PRESTIGE

october 25th - 2024

This week John took a trip down to Euro Prestige Imports (and Unknown Charlotte) to check out their amazing facilities and get a feel for what happens behind the scenes at one of the Southeast’s premier Urban dealers!

In the last eight months of working together, they have commissioned a total of 10 Urban builds with many more in the works. The detail and quality of work Euro Prestige can offer has led them to become the top Urban dealer in their state. John, Cyrus and Marcel have become fast friends, all united by a common goal of expanding Urban further into the Southeast quadrant of the USA.

At the time of our visit Euro Prestige had three Urban Defenders and a Urban Discovery 5.5 built and ready for sale. Cyrus (owner) attributes their recent success with the Urban line to the fact that Euro Prestige can source, sell and custom build vehicles for their clients, a one stop shop if you will. Their customers do not need to buy a vehicle first and then bring it to them for an Urban conversion. This ‘turn-key’ approach has allowed for a simpler process to Urban ownership. In only our first year working together, the relationship with Euro Prestige is quickly gaining steam.

A person could spend all day taking in each unique vehicle inside of their facilities. There is no shortage of beautiful vehicles.

The ‘Reform Club’ is a members only lounge inside the Euro Prestige facility named after the private, members owned club, founded in the early 19th century on the south side of central London, England. Since its foundation in 1836, London’s Reform Club has been the traditional home for those committed to progressive ideas, with its membership initially consisting of Radicals and Whigs, nowadays serving purely a social function. It has been used as a location in a number recent films, including the 2002 James Bond movie Die Another Day, The Avengers (1998), Quantum of Solace (2008), Sherlock Holmes (2009), Paddington (2014), and Christopher Nolan's Tenet (2020). Cyrus shared with us that many of his best (and worst!) ideas occurred over a shared drink in their ‘Reform Club’ between friends.

Euro Prestige specialize in many different brand of vehicles, but have recently developed a passion building and selling Urban Defenders. You can often find Cyrus driving around Charlotte in one of their creations.

Starting off strictly selling European vehicles, Euro Prestige has now become a one stop shop where they can source, build, store and maintain clientele cars. The business now houses collector car storage, vehicle maintenance and restoration bays, a massive coworking office space and the reform club all within the single facility.

To better understand our partnership and see what happens behind the scenes, check out the latest Urban Uncut where we sit down with Cyrus and Marcel to chat about the business and how they started working with Urban.
